I established the idea for my store in 1996 and wanted to offer quality everyday products for my friends and neighbors in my own urban community because there was nothing to be had in the immediate area. However, the original location that I chose never quite got finished with the renovations as promised, so I took a spot (temporarily, as it seemed) on the Southern Coast of German Village. Well... temporarily quickly became permanent with the idea of moving a boatload of stuff again!

Over the years, my array of gifts and gourmet delights for humans with a small pet section has evolved into a "bone-i-fied" premium dog and cat product resource and I am extremely gratified by the turn of events. I now have a vast array of quality pet products that I can stand behind to offer to you and your pet friends, and I still have a bit of the other items including cold beverages and candies, wine, beer plus candles and incense.

Let your animals be animals and love and train them to live in harmony with you. Give them proper nutrition to thrive. Don’t be fooled by fancy TV commercials that indicate that your pets will be better off from eating their foods. If they have the advertising dollars to promote their foods via TV commercials and the like, then they probably don’t put their money into the quality of their foods. These are corporate companies, driven by their shareholders. I’ve also discovered that those big box pet stores aren’t really all that competitive on their prices.

I was planning to add a page with links to important websites where you can find homeless animals available for adoption.
